Day 9: My baby...

Okay.....so I decided that I needed two pictures up for the day. I decided to play with HDR a little bit. Granted I couldn't get great dynamic lighting because it was indoors, it was still fun. Because the lighting inside my house isn't exactly great, I pulled the shop light up from downstairs. It's 1500W. I used it and threw a white sheet over it to dampen the light just a bit. It gave the guitar a very nice glow. After that I used my camera's auto bracketing feature. The picture of the neck is done with a normal exposure, +2 and -2 on lighting. The picture of the body is + and - 1.5 and a normal. I took all three pictures and plugged them in RAW format into a program called Dynamic-Photo HDR. Processed them there first. Then I took them to photoshop for the basic resizing and rotating. Overall I like them. No my guitar is not that grungy, but I loved the way it made it look.

So here is day 9 and day 9 part 2. My baby. My Guitar.

  1. I like it (them) and I think it works even though it's 2 photos...they go together really well.

  2. Yeah that's really why I chose to do 2 photos...because after I got them done I realized how well they went together.
